What is an Addon Domain?

An addon domain is a domain name that that points to a subdirectory within your account. For example, you may want bizcanada.nz to point to canadabiz.nz/innovation/. Addon domains must be registered domain names that you own and configured to point to your web site's servers.

Note: You should update the name servers and wait approximately 72 hours for propagation to occur before updating your Addon Domain.

To park a domain:

1. Log onto your control panel (cPanel).
2. Click on the Addon Domains button on the home page.
3. Enter the domain name in the New Addon Domain field.
4. Add the directory that the addon domain points to in the Username/directory name field.
5. Enter the password for the domain in the Password field, if required.
6. Click on the Add button.
